The Department of Fisheries, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada was established on September 01, 1963 with the initial name “Fisheries Section”. Over time, various name changes were made in accordance with the provisions of the Organization and Governance Structure at Universitas Gadjah Mada.
